Heres my buddy, i say this little spike a couple of weeks ago playing, and every where i go on this 800acre track he keeps showin up.
I keep tellin him he's gonna get shot if the wrong person gets in one of my stands.
This evening i desided to take my camara and take a pic of my little bud.
And i told him if he shows up next year with only a set of spike horns im gonna have ta take him out of the heard, what do ya think?:noidea:

It was almost dark and he was about 60yards from me i couldnt get a good pic but ill get a better one later.

He keeps followin me around at 4 different ladder stands at all 4 corners of the property.
I think the big bucks are runnin him off.:noidea:

Makes it kinda nice to just be seein deer don't it kbo? It starts to get to me if I am on stand more than a couple of days and I don't see any deer. I'm not into shootin everyone that comes thru but I do like to set there and think that I coulda took a deer home tonight if I had wanted to. I have learned alot just watching deer over the years and I always enjoy it even if it is a little spike....

I watched a doe one time that had a fawn with her run a buck off. It was pretty cool I had never heard some of the sounds she was making before. When that buck came in there she layed her ears back and took out after him like she was gonna lay a serious whoopin on him. Needless to say she won and came back and took her fawn on down the field. It was really pretty cool to see.

I used scent eleminater-dirt and tink's silver vixion fox pee on my boots.

I was grunting and rattleing all three in this morning a small 6pt a 4pt and my little bud.
No big boys.
This trail i cut threw cutover to my ladder stand he walked up where i walked about 2 hours later.:noidea:

I need a more powerfull zoom.
Its a brand new camara but only has a 3 power zoom and the deer was about 60yds right at dark.
The camara takes great pics but with the zoom all the way out they come out like this.:noidea:

Black powder season came in and my hunt club killed 8 deer today out of 20 members with 2 big 8 pointers.
Man the Meat was on the ground.
But they didnt kill spike.:lol:

i hunted a spooky ol doe fer 3 years runnin' she made me each year
I guess she died of old age

I just get a little ticked off at some of my huntclub members that shoot anything.
Ya i shoot small bucks every once in awhile but some of them guys drop 2 button bucks at one time.:frusty:
I use to be like that but now id rather shoot 1 big doe or buck that weighs as much as 2 little 70lb fawns.
We had 1 guy 2 weeks ago while i was in Ohio kill a big doe on wed. a big 10pt thursday morning and then go back out and shot a 55lb button buck that evening.

I couldn't get anybody to help me drag a deer out if I paid em I don't think. That is one of the downsides to hunting by yourself.....

Friday there were 12 members there blackpowder season came in
They killed 4 friday and 8 today
If i had of killed a big 8pt with the bow they would come runnin.:lol:
I was the only one there bowhunting
But monday my bow is going to be put away for the year and my Knight is comeing out.:biggrin1:
