we had about 40 last year , lots of period dress too
the sons of confederate vets and elements of tha 61st Tn Inf

I understand it just fine. Your flag speaks for itself. What it represents means as much to you as the Stars and Stripes. The American Flag represents freedom. It represents that to all Americans. Your flag doesn't. Say what you want, but it represents a failed attempt at cessation and to a lot of people it represents oppression, not freedom.

If you are proud of that past, then wave that flag with pride. I'm more proud of the flag that I served. Just don't accuse me of tooting my horn when you are leading the band with yours...
