I have killed one turkey. took me about two hours to clean it because I had to walk away from it so many times. wife said when do you want me to fix it. I said in about ten years. the only way I would shoot one is if it attack me and I couldnt out run it.:D

Did ya skin it or try to pluck it? I skin all of mine. Cleaning them really doesn't bother me to much I helped clean 100's of chickens as a kid.

You should, if you think deer hunting is tough get on the ground and try to bag a bird....

If you skin them, do you cook the full bird or do you cut up the meat into individuial packages to be cooked in portions??? :noidea:

Well I tried but my wife would not let me shoot it. I told her just to lay it in the table. One quick shot and then she can take off the plastic. lol

You ask that.
I desided not to hunt today after bein in the woods alot for the past month
And my wife wanted me out of her way this morning while she and my daughter was cookin.
I called my buddy and went and played a round of golf in the light rain and 70 degrees and at the turn on the 10 hole there was one of the biggest Gobblers in the middle of the Fairway.
I looked at my bud and said wouldnt ya know it, if i was huntin id never seen nothin.
Had a great round of golf though.:biggrin1:
