SETTLE.......its not a bad thing, when your talking about the BEST......
I use to shoot the outback and switchback and was happy with them except for the FAT grips. I will never shoot another mathews until they make that grip smaller. But, don't deny it, you are still SETTLING!!!!!!!!!

they did slim down the grips........not enough for my liking, but I would just take the grip off and shoot off the riser.............

Yeah, but I can't justify modifying a bow like that after spending $750.

I have no excuses.
But the Prestigue I thought wasnt that fast!:noidea:
I guess i thought wrong.:noidea:
By looking at your first post it looks like you feel more comfortable with the C4, and comfort means more then how parrallel limbs look. IMO

hey have seen the X series from Mission???
they have an awsome thin wood grip......I wonder if they would fit, the DLD.....
BUNNYMAN 11-30-2007, 08:12 PM I have no excuses.

IBO of the Prestige is 322 at 29", it only goes to 29"

I like the feel of the parrallel, but I shoot a conventional limb better it seems.....:noidea:

Anyway hope ya find tha right indoor bow that suits ya.:D
Chris 11-30-2007, 08:21 PM We just got an all black LD in for a customer and it's sweet!
The C4 is nice and proven but if it were me, I'd be seriously looking at the DLD. The parallel limb bows shoot so much nicer.

Ronhop 11-30-2007, 10:05 PM Bman, why do I feel like we are the only Mathews Shooters around here sometimes :noidea:
No idea...
Some people, like me, shoot multiple brands of bows.
If you look back at past threads there are a few of us that have Blueberry Ovations... One of us, at least, (Dred, bud, you know who you are), being left (a.k.a. wrong) handed...
Go Mathews and go Bowtech, go PSE, go Martin, go Bear, etc and go any bow company that can keep our sport going and support it...

I think the C4 also. The grip is alot better in my opinion. more comfortable when shooting alot of arrows...

BUNNYMAN 11-30-2007, 11:10 PM :hand: will this one work? :D

Dredly 12-01-2007, 07:30 AM I think you should learn to shoot lefty!
I've heard nothing but great stuff about the C4 but its not that fast, especially at "short bus draw lengths"

ITS FOR INDOOR.......
Chris 12-01-2007, 08:56 AM Grip is better on the C4 for sure.
ny911bowhunter 12-01-2007, 04:03 PM Adam - SERIOUSLY..... Get an Apex 7...SERIOUSLY.
If not an A7 - get the DLD...either sand the factory grip or get a thinner aftertmarket grip...

Bunny,
Why not just write "08" on your bow and save the money?:pound:
Nearly the same bows anyway...
I like shooting my Conquest, so I vote for that.
timberghost 12-01-2007, 04:18 PM The DLD is the only bow I am interested in trying out this year. I mean next year. BrakinBonaparte suggested that we get a new 48" LCD tv. So we did. And a cabinet. And a Blu-ray disk player.

I tried an Apex 7 and hated it......they are too heavy to begin with.......
I like a bow, that I can add the weight to.......where I want it.....
ny911bowhunter 12-01-2007, 05:54 PM Then get the DLD....but the thing that bothers me is it is NOT a dedicated "target bow" it is more of an all purpose bow....can be used for spots...can be used for deer.....blah, blah, blah....
But like you said - i like the roller guard over the C4.....I like the integral grip over the wood.....It is a helluva predicament bud...
Maybe it's time to venture over the river to the area's most experienced and well equipped shop and find the right bow for you.:peace:

yeah not sure about that.........Kevin has a ton of experience..........
and lets not forget that an extra 20 minuets for me and I can be in JIMMY D's shop......any of the 3......
not saying Joe dont KNOW........but he is not the only self proclaimed pro in the area.......
if he wasnt such a Negative NANCY, I might consider shooting one of his brands.......
