Well, I got this bow extremely cheap, so I thought why not? I know it is an old bear compound bow. It looks to be adjustable from either 50-55-60 lb. or 50-60-70, not sure on that one. It is quite a large bow, about 45-50 inches. Seems to be solid aluminum/metal. The original owner spray painted it a horrible brownish/reddish color that looked like crap. I added black, tan, olive drab, and tried to make it so it would blend in better so to speak. It looks a bit better than before. No masterpiece by any chance. The only manufacturer's markings I can find are the Bear logo (piece of attached metal on the right side of the bow, near the middle; was silver). I am not sure what kind of strings are on it, but the cams seem to be factory-originals and overall it seems to be a solid bow. About a 30" or so draw length. It is a right hand bow. My question is, is there a procedure to figure out what model/how old this bow is?
Thanks.
edit: Okay, it looks exactly like this one http://cgi.ebay.com/OLD-and-VINTAGE-Bear-Compound-Bow-RH-Archery-Used_W0QQitemZ290143857736QQihZ019QQcategoryZ20838 QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQcmdZViewItem
Even the string in that picture in the eBay seems to be the same exact string used on this bow (you can see the small part that is green in the picture). Does anyone know what kind of bow this is or how old they are?

Well, that is obvious. I seem to spend most of my money on my firearms more than bow/archery stuff. Besides....I payed a whole $13.50 on this "crappy" bow. Thanks eBay for that one. Was it worth the $13.50?
....I believe so....
