Also theres always the archery software titles like TAP or OnTarget. Ol'Dad 02-20-2006, 05:33 PM You can go to the Gold Tip web site and they have one there for you to use. Very good tool.... http://www.goldtip.com/calculators/foc.asp Thanks, Brandon BowTech81 02-20-2006, 06:47 PM What do you need to know F.O.C. for? Ol'Dad 02-20-2006, 07:01 PM What do you need to know F.O.C. for? The front of center has a lot to do with the way an arrow flies. If an arrow was perfectly balanced in the center it would try to swap ends in flight. The recommended F.O.C. is between 8-12% and is critical for broadhead flight.I have found that 10% has been a very good number for my arrows in the past. The reason for this thread was to find an easier method, rather than balancing my arrows, taking measurements and marking up one of my arrows with a permanent marker. That link for Goldtip was exactly what I was looking for. Brandon BowTech81 02-20-2006, 07:10 PM Sweet, I went into that site, and Foun out that is exactly where my arrows were at. I'll take luck over skill anyday!!! Thanks!!
