Looks fun Jay Are 01-15-2008, 09:38 PM Thanks for the pics Jay Are...I have never seen an indoor 3D. Looks fun This is the second year for doing this and there a blast! It's marked yardage, with most of the targets with IBO rings along with a 14 ring burned/drilled in them to make it a little bit more intresting. I'm happy to hit the target if I can!!! Some of the guys have stong enough scopes (good enough eyes), that they will shoot for them at 15-25 yards. The 14 ring is offset to one of the sides of the vitals similar to the ASA 14. bullfiddle 01-15-2008, 10:10 PM I can't see the 12's.... I'm happy to hit the target if I can!!! I have never shot a indoor 3D before. am wondering why the different colored numbers on each targets. might try to have one at our club. Dredly 01-16-2008, 11:31 AM looks like a lot of fun. I have never shot a indoor 3D before. am wondering why the different colored numbers on each targets. might try to have one at our club. Normally there are marked spots on the floor (think lanes in an indoor shoot) and each lane corresponds to a shot. So in the deer pic lane 7 would shoot the standard vitals and the Lane 18 would shoot the rear ones. It allows the use of a lot fewer targets but a lot more shots. the fun part is when arrows start crossing or people with long stabalizers shoot extreme angle shots in front of other shooters  BuckeyeRed 01-16-2008, 11:44 AM Cool pics Jay Are. Looks like a nice place. Indoor 3D is a blast. ? though, so how high are the scores there since the hardest part of the equation is already given? Jay Are 01-16-2008, 12:38 PM Cool pics Jay Are. In the unlimited class they mostly range from 300 - 370s. Hunter class around 250 - 330. ---- you shoot 32 targets. Its 16 targets - shot twice. Everyone shoots in pairs and we use the colors to keep track of which targets you shoot for that round. So round one you shoot targets 1 & 2 (orange) and than on round two you shoot targets 3 & 4 (green) from the same postions. Round 3 you move to the next postions to shoot targets 5 & 6 (orange) and Targets 7 & 8 (green).... I hope that makes sense of it all! :noidea: It's hard to explain and much easier to show people when they are up at the shooting line. I gotcha, the indoor league I shoot is setup similar except no given yardage. Ours is setup teams of 2 w/ two classes, A and B. You shoot two preliminary rounds to determine what class you will be in and to average handicaps. A round is 30 shots, you don't shoot every animal twice since there are around 40 targets on range. Targets are marked by number and color, Yellow and Red. A round begins w/ 3 Yellow targets: "1,2,3" then 3 Red targets: "4,5,6" and so on.
