There should be a minimum height. It should also be stipulated what type of fence it must be. A 12 foot three strand barbed wire fence aint stoppin much.
What if there is a hole in the fence somewhere? Maybe I have a gate. Say I open the gate and park my truck in the entrance. Deer could squeeze between the fence and the truck. Am I still high fence huntin??

in ohio for preserve hunting or fence hunting it has to be at least a 6ft. fence and 80 acres min.

i have never hunted any preserve myself, i did consider doing a hog hunt in texas next year, but thats still a maybe. All of my hunting has alway been on private property or public hunting areas. Some of those hunting preserves want a fortune to hunt a trophy buck anyway, i cant believe how much they charge.

2. they way i read the regulation for ohio no that would not be, theres more to it than just the fence.
but someone may consider it that. what r u trying to figure out, whether or not a deer could qualify for a record or something.
