I started to bow fish in the early spring and summer in the dead of winter I Bowhunt coyotes from my ground blind. I would say shooting a coyote with a bow is 10X harded then deer.

So what do you guys do it pass the winter month.

There is no such thing as an "off-season" for me. Right now its indoor season. Come march it is 3D season, come October it is hunting season again...

don't forget there is a spring bear season- although bear hunting in MT is hard-no bait.

Still enjoy the trail camera suprises and just watching deer. You can learn much about bedding, feeding and activity in general just watching deer. Then later there is always shed hunting. If it is all about shooting then practice practice practice---you can never do this to much. Even in cold weather it will get the blood flowing. Enjoy

Kill spots, tune bow, build arrows, buy more equipment I really don't need, and then keep repeating all over again until hunting season begins.

You could go to the mall and score racks (don't let the misses catch you)

3D season is coming up pretty fast and already started in many places. Spring turkey season is coming soon as well as getting everything ordered and prepared for making food plots. Then there is the trail cameras to monitor as well. :biggrin1:

I have Lake Erie in my backyard...there is no "off season". I fish pretty much year 'round, with 3-D and hunting in between fishing trips.
