View Full Version : Anyone Use Easton Fatboys For Spots?
VA Vince 03-02-2006, 04:44 PM I am shooting my shark for indoors and just bought some fatboys for 3-d (for my hunting rig). I tried the fatboys with my indoor bow and they were awesome. I shot better with these than my cobalts. Anyone else use them for spots?
houndy 03-02-2006, 05:53 PM yes i used them but switched to the 2613's and added 4 points to my average on vegas targets and 8 more x's on 5 spots.
BUNNYMAN 03-02-2006, 07:10 PM what is every one using for indoor fletchings???? I use the tiny quick spins (1&1/8) on My Linejammers and they fly great.
bullspotter 03-02-2006, 10:20 PM I shoot fat boys for spots and 3-d, of course i use them in my hunting bow, even for spots, ill get 300s, 299s,298s 99% of the time, 42,48 xs, shooting hoyt trykon, with pins and 10 inch stabilzer, at 65 lbs. I use 4 inch vanes on all arrows.
VA Vince 03-03-2006, 05:07 AM On my 2512's i am useing 4" feathers. The fatboys i am useing blazers and wraps. My biggest problem is keeping the 2512's on the rest. I am useing the spring steel and about every 10th arrow falls off. With the fatboy's i didnt have any fall off in a vegas round. Thinking about going to a drop away.
BUNNYMAN 03-03-2006, 07:36 PM Dropaway would be a great idea, love um.:biggrin1:
BowhuntnHoosier 03-03-2006, 09:14 PM Come on BOWMAN when you gonna wake up and get yourself a biscuit? Just got home from work what a long day. Did'nt even have time to get the bow out. As for Fatboys everyone at the range loves them and I have not seen any bad flights out of them. Definately my next purchase. And that ripcord should fire them off my XT perfectly.

BowhuntnHoosier 03-03-2006, 09:40 PM My biscuit produces venison  and that in turn tastes very good on a biscuit.
