For instance, the arrow shown above is 24/64 OD and the wall thickness is 0.013". Carbon arrows do not follow this designatiion so you will need to look up the specs. As for chosing an arrow, be sure to use the recommended arrow charts from each manufacturer. Arrow "spine" or stiffness is crucial to getting arrows to fly correctly. Too stiff or too weak will cause flight problems. Good shooting! Radar 03-05-2006, 09:45 AM I think that carbon arrows are rated by how much they deflect at the shot like a 340 arrow would be .340" but don't quote me on that, I have been wrong before. Just don't tell my wife that!:biggrin1: |
