View Full Version : R-100 in Newmanstown, Pa
Joe_P. 02-10-2008, 08:39 PM It is a ways off but lets get things started. The R-100 in Pa is being hosted by the Mill Creek Rod and Gun club this year. June 21 & 22 are the scheduled dates, there is not much information on Rineharts web site but I did confirm this with the club directly and was told more information was to be posted on the web site within a week or two. It would be nice to get a group from
3DShoots.com to participate, I am looking into campgrounds around the area. Anyone else interested in going?

Joe_P. 02-11-2008, 03:44 PM Wabash, In to Newmanstown, Pa is over 600 miles away, the guys over in the mid west are facing the same kind of drive I would have if I were to go to Wabash. Western Pa or Eastern Ohio would be more central for us.
ricksmathew 02-11-2008, 09:11 PM Sorry guys but Newmanstown is only about 15-20 miles from me.
lungcutter 02-11-2008, 09:53 PM I think i might see 2 R100's in my future:noidea:

lungcutter 03-03-2008, 09:28 AM Some here, The one in PA is real close the one in wabash is a long ways off. But I will be at which ever one we decide to do. I wouldn't miss it for anything.:peace:
Jay Are 03-03-2008, 03:06 PM Newmanstown to my house ---- about 10 Miles!
But I am still planning on going to Indiana if we get a large enough commitment from other members.
Ronhop 03-03-2008, 04:46 PM I am going to the Wabash, IN shoot. It's about 300 hundred miles for me. I may also go to the Central City, IA shoot since that one is even closer. I missed the Greencastle, PA one last year because of car issues but I have no intention on missing the Wabash R100. I'll also be camping. Does anybody have any campground information for the Wabash shoot ? I looked on r100.org and there is not much posted yet with that shoot.

Joe_P. 06-23-2008, 07:28 PM Shot the R-100 this weekend, hats off to Millcreek Rod & Gun Club for hosting the shoot. :peace: Too bad that Rinehart can't put the same amount of effort into the shoot as the hosting club. Some targets are shot out that you can't see the rings to score the animal, others are shot out that the arrows go through, (yeah I lost one there), they didn't have enough score cards, the club had to provide score cards with room for only 30 targets, we had to write the last 20 of the day on the back. And everyone had a different idea as to where to shoot each target from, plastic stake or metal stake and no cub stake. And way too many skunks, frogs and snakes. And lastly get some new computers they are cheap enough these days. :tape: Once again thanks to the guys at Millcreek.

Joe_P. 06-23-2008, 08:34 PM Well it would of been nice to let everyone know that at the start of the shoot. They certainly let everyone know how much it is to shoot!

Big B 06-23-2008, 11:19 PM I would say that it was onthe back ofthe score cards, but they didnt have enough, so i guess thats out.......
No it wasn't. I have one it has nothing on the back.
BUNNYMAN 06-23-2008, 11:20 PM No it wasn't. I have one it has nothing on the back.
did you remove your bucket prize piece??
BUNNYMAN 06-23-2008, 11:27 PM In VT, the very SMART people running the event, put the score cards in the printer backwords and the part of the score card that gave the rules was printed oppisite the part that you tear off and put in the bucket prizes.....
so once you took that part off, the rules were gone forever.......
Big B 06-24-2008, 10:09 PM The shoot was very unorganized. There was one guy running the whole thing and the club was helping out as much as they could but when we had questions the one guy was no where to be found.
