I finally got a chance to try out my bullheads after setting up my new xt. To say I am impressed is an understatement. My bow was not tuned for these arrows at all.

I grabbed them out of the pile because they were about 3" longer than my others. These are pse carbon force arrows and my usuals are goldtip 55/75.

I screwed them on. The first shot was with a 4 blade stinger (on the right in first photo) and the next was the bullhead (bullseye)

As you can see in the second photo it got great penetration through my black hole target. Not quite as much as the stinger but it went all the way thru and went about another 6"

My bow isnt even quite sighted in yet which is even more incredible. What broadhead am I using this spring? Bullhead of course!

I will have some buzzcuts in case I want to take a body shot but I flinging some bullheads for sure. This was 15 yds. in my back yard. I know they will fly great alot further than that but my shots are going to be 15-25 yds. on turkeys most likely.

I'm sure they're great broadheads, but I dont think you should brag about penetration too much shooting that target.........:biggrin1:

I agree 100% Because i have a target and i know if i hit in in certian places it will penetrate ALOT farther than others due to the fact that i have shot it out like the one above!! Not to bash your broadhead choice or nothing like that JMO!! :peace:

Guys I agree but you have to think of how long these blades are. That is what impressed me. Each one is about an inch and a half long. That is alot of blade to push thru the foam.

I want to know how they shoot once you have your bow in tune, sighted in and how they compare to field tips. I would love to try them out this year for birds if I know they are going to fly consitantly with my field tips and I don't need to buy new arrows that are heavier then crap. Thanks for the update.

I guarantee they will fly great out of a tuned bow. Obviously I dont recommend going hunting with an arrow you have never practiced with but I was just fooling around in the yard.

There is no reason you cant make an awesome shot at 30 yds. or beyond with these babies if you wanted to.

I've sold quite a few of the Bullheads, and I can't wait to get out and test them myself. They look like they will be a great head for turkeys....the footage I have seen of them already proves that.

I have never tried a head shot on turkeys. Maybe when I get a fancy smancy DB blind I will be more apt to try it. :biggrin1:

The bullhead looks pretty wicked!

That is my opinion but that ultimately is up to the consumer.

I just tested my 125gr 3 3/4" bullheads with a yellow jacket broadhead target. shot it about 5 times... no bent blades and they fly straight. being able to test you equiptment is a must! I would hate to see what my target would do to a gobbler guillotine!
