The quiver that came with my Hoyt Defiant is, in a word, crap. I guess they didn't figure anybody would be shooting carbon arrows in 2000, because this one won't hold 'em.

I've been looking at quivers from Alpine, Kwikee, and Bohning, pretty much in that order. What do you folks think?

I have a Kwikee and I like it a lot. No problems or complaints with it at all.

I just bought a tree limb quiver and I think I am going to love it. It has many different adjustments on it so my arrows won't be sticking lower then my bottom cam. Also looks like I can take it off easily and hang it on just about anything. I used to use a bohning quiver and was happy with that, but couldn't adjust it so the arrows wouldn't hang too low.

Kwikee makes a fine quiver and I still own a few of them. My favorite one-piece quiver is the trophy ridge ridge hunter. I remove my quiver when I get to the tree. I purchased a Ross two-piece quiver for my Cardiac to take to CO because I won't be removing my quiver in the mountains and it is lighter and more streamlined than the one-piece.

I use the Alpine Soft Loc 3 Arrow Quiver. It is fantastic for hunting. I also have the 2 piece quiver for my Ross Cardiac, but I can't get used to shooting with a quiver full of arrows.

The Mathews T5 Web Arrow Quiver looks like the cats ass... does it fit other brands of bows like a Ross Cardiac :noidea: ?

The T5 (or T3 or T7) quivers look great but you will pay through the nose for them. I bought my trophy ridge quiver for $100 and now you can buy them for $60. I won't make that mistake again. I don't know if it will fit the Cardiac (the T5) as the Ross has custom slots in the riser for the Ross quivers.

edit: I bought the 2 piece Ross quiver with the old camo so it doesn't match my Cardiac camo. Do you think the deer or elk will care? :noidea: :D :D

:D :D If I just happen to wear pants that match my shirt or jacket it is coincidence. Usually it is a mix and match of patterns and makers. :biggrin1:

I'd check out the Fuse quiver's . I have a 4 arrow Fuse 1 piece on my BowTech Allegiance and it's by far the best quiver I've ever used ,the price is a little steep ,but definately the best in my eye's.

I am on my 3 bow in 4 years since I bought my Alpine soft-lock 5. I sell the bows and keep this quiver, no need in buying another one if I let it go with the older bow.

At the price i had this one made, you wont buy 2 of them:doh:
J/J for compound i use the PSE that came with the package, It has 2 seperate cleates to hold carbon and alluminum.
And i use a bohning hip quiver sometimes when im planning on sneaking thru corn fields and want the arrows off the bow.:D

I looked long and hard at quivers when I was in Bass Pro a couple weeks ago. I settled on the Kwikee Combo for several reasons: the price is right, no foam to wear out, low side profile, good grip on arrows. The only thing I didn't expect was that my 29" arrows stick out from the bottom of my bow. I didn't think that my Hoyt Defiant, at 40" ATA, was a particularly short bow, so I didn't buy the High Riser that Kwikee makes. Oh, well, another trip to Bass Pro. Throw me in that briar patch!

Treelimb is worth the time to look at a little more before you make your decision. i used one last year and it was awesome and they just come out with a new premier line that is awesome to.

I just got some Treelimb Quivers in the shop and you will not find a better value. Check them out before you drop a wad of cash on the same thing with a more popular name.... :thumb:

Fuse quivers are by far the best that i have come across. I had an Alpine soft-lock, it was pretty cool, but the fuse posi-lite has to be the best looking and quality quiver ever made.

I use a three arrow Kwikee quiver .Buy an extra bow mount bracket and attach it to your treestand upside down .When you pop the quiver in ,the arrows will be within easy reach.Wolf942
