I shot a Ross CR331 tonight and im selling the switchback. Fell in love with it but ive been a die hard matthews fan for awhile.Anyone else experience this or am i on my own?:noidea:

I think Ross makes very nice bows but not enough to make me sell my mathews.

I would like to have one for a backup bow though.

Not bashing here at all but. From what I've seen Ross bows look and shoot alot like Mathews.:noidea: Andy and Angie are great people and I hope their bows continue to do well.:peace:

If you cant look at a Ross bow and see that its a carbon COPY of a Mathews, you need to get your eyes checked:noidea: :noidea:

I have never owned a Mathews or a Ross so you can send the switchback to me and I would never know the difference...:decision:

I am also selling my Mathews, but I'm going with an ELITE! I did shoot a Ross and really liked it, but liked the Elite better.

Yeah, I kinda feel the same as you... I have a CR334 that shoots pretty dang good but I just think Mathews has the edge as far as craftsmanship...

Why should you feel weird. Shoot what you like. If someone gives you crap about not shooting a mathews, tell them you would be happy to shoot one as long as they buy it for you. It's your money spend it on what you like.

Everyone has an opinion and it's just that an opinion. I really don't like the my bow is better than your bow stuff. As long as your shooting archery, then I'm happy.

Nothing against Mathews but I sold all mine off for Ross bows over the last 2 years and have not looked back.
My 331 is my favorite bow but the Cardiac is one sweet shooter as well.
They might not be speed demons like the "Fad" seems to be now days but they sure feel and shoot great to me. :usa:

it's all about getting out there and shooting, the equipment you use has nothing to do with it as long as YOU are happy and YOU are having fun. last year i was shooting a bow that was about 15 years old, it was slow, i had to arch the arrows in at 30 yards but i was still having fun, i now have a new bow and am much happier but the point is, i was out there shooting, with people that were giving me a hard time about my antique bow(it was all in fun) and i was enjoying myself.

its just for an extra number doesnt realy mean anything and i would say for a bare x5 probly 250 to 300 if your lucky

ya thats bare bow though all bows lose value if i was u i would have bought the x3 same cam and everything just a little heavier cuz of the less cutouts in the riser
