Well, Tommorrow is the first day of the Missouri spring turkey season and I need everyone to pray that I manage to down a big old bird first thing in the morning. So if everyone will just say a quick little prayer for me that would be great.

No turkey monday. It was raining this morning and the weatherman said tornadoes possible till noon. Guess what ? Nice little shower and it cleared off nice. Went to work and as soon as I pull into the driveway of the house we are painting a turkey gobbles. Tell my little brother be back in a bit, grabbed the gun and off I went. Still no turkey. I,m starting to think there aren't any in Mo. anymore.:noidea: Will try again tommorrow.

Dead bird down. Went out wendsday morning and finally had to shoot a strutting jake that kept running off the big bird. Shot him about 6:50 in the morning. So I can't hunt again untill next monday and then next weekend off to Kansas to hunt Rios. Those are some fun birds to hunt. I'll try to post some pics if I can get Bunnyman to do it for me.
