I am new to this forum. Been viewing for awhile but this is my first post. Any body putting in food plots this year? If so what are you putting in? Tried turnips last year, didn't work very well. Trying clover this year.

I just raked a few 50x100 squares in a sunny area of the land I hunt and broadcast seeded it. already some small clover looking plants sprouting..

Finally got the clover and oat seed put in for our food plot. We put it in Saturday morning and got an inch and a half of rain Saturday and Sunday. Perfect!!! Is nobody else trying out food plots?

I put mine in 2 weeks ago after a soil test, put in a mixture of clovers from powerplant, and another plot I put in Rape turnips, Kale and another mixture...works great for the fall and the other plot is for nutrition for the summer.

We use nothing but antler king products, tried the bio logic stuff here in central WI. and had terrible luck.
