I finally got the go ahead from my wife to purchase a new bow this year.

So in my consideration I had narrowed it down to the Diamond Liberty.

This morning I got an email from Bowhunters Superstore about a bow made exclusively for them called the BowTech Nitrous.

Has anyone shot this bow and how does it compare to the draw cycle of the Liberty (basically is it a harsher draw cycle or smooth). What type of wall does it have and what is the let off that you shot. I was also wondering if anyone had any information about this bow's speed because it is not on the website.

Any information would be appreciated, and I have included a like for anyone that hasn't heard of it yet.

Thanks to everyone

It looks like a version of the Diamond Marquis/Gander Mountain TecHunter Elite, but without the roller guard. very cool looking bow. good price, too.
I think that's a draw stop slot on the cam so it would probably have a very solid back wall.
my only concern would be warranty issues. could you take it to the local Bowtech dealer to be fixed or would you have to send it back to BSS? I'm sure your local dealer would fix it, but you know he would charge you for warranty work on a bow bought online.

Well, other than Gander Mnt the closest BowTech Dealer is nearly 150 miles away, so that is a concern with any Bowtech we decide to buy.

I think theres a program, or at least there used to be, called "BowTech in the Boonies". I'm not exactly sure of the details, but it had something to do with there not being a dealer in your area. If you are interested in other BowTech models, you might want to look into that.:D

Thanks Everyone,

Ya, I think I an still going with Diamond Liberty mainly because I found one at a great price, new but last years model. And I'm not going to drive to the Bowhunters Superstore to shoot the Nitrous.

Also, even though Gander only carries Diamond (maybe can order Bowtech), they are considered our Bowtech dealer and prohibits us from ordering.

Once again thanks.

I thought I had responded to this already but maybe not.

This is a Marquis without the roller guard and has a black ice cam on it.
I hope this helps. It is a private label bow for one of the box store. It's basically and overstock.

Ya, I thought about it for a little bit then found a great price on a Liberty, so I ordered it and it should be here soon.

:peace: :peace: :peace:

I can't wait, but unfortunately I will probably be out of town on business when it arrives.
