I got out exactly 1 week before 9/11 and my barracks roommate got out on 9/11.

I never served. But thank all those who have and are serving at this time. I just don't take orders very well so I thought the military may be a bad decision.:D

I entered on 24 March 1982 into the Nike Hercules Missile System until 1986 when i went into the Patriot Missile System. I retired on 1 April 2002.

I started out riding Submarines, did that for the first 5 years, then I became a diver. Been doing that ever since and have love it almost every second!

Michigan Army National Guard 1990-2000. Never was deployed but would have gone had I been called. Got out because of medical reasons. Didn't get a medical discharge, but got out when my time was up. Got hit by a drunk driver in 1998 and was off duty for a whole year. I was supposed to get out in 1999 but my buddies talked me into one more year to see if I would improve, but I didn't. I should have made them kick me out on a medical. Oh well, stupid pride. :Cry: :p
