Here is a cell phone picture of an absolute brute that my buddy (who doesn't hunt) just took about an hour ago.This buck is on his property. I got my cousin permission to hunt this property last season and he saw it numerous times from his stand (some at close ranges) but couldn't close the deal for various reasons.This thing is a pig! I thought it was big last season from the pictures my cousin got off his trail cam.But what a monster it is going to be this year.Remember,its' only June!Look at the drop tine coming off its' left antler base.

That's gonna be a dandy come fall... I saw two bucks this morning with about 8" of antler growth on there head but I haven't seen anything that big yet this year....

Hi pred..ya ever been to yorktown battlefield park..well the buck's are monsters.and they walk up that close where you can take pics with a cell phone like that...they have bowhunting only lottery pic's only and people feed them almost by hand.....if ya havent ya have to go there pred its not far from you...

What im trying to say is its kinda hard to believe that a buddy is standing there ( as you stated) some 25 yards takeing pic's of a mature free rangeing deer of his age..if it is this is a stupid deer or he's never been hunted.

But a cell phone camara with a man holding it 20-25yds if that...no

but that's just my opinion..down here in virginia..ive never been able 2 get that close to an older smart buck that has been hunted,,maybe for 1 pic..before he runs off but not set there ..eat and let me take several. and stare at me like that.

There is one thing I really can't stand;and that is being called a liar.I called and spoke with my friend yesterday and was talking to him about people like you.We then began talking about the photo and during the conversation he mentioned that the photo was taken with his regular hand held digital camera,not his cell phone,so that is my bust.As far as the deer goes it is a free ranging whitetail,captured on trail cam photos from last season quite a few times.Within range of my cousin a few times also but he couldn't close the deal.A trailcam photo is posted above this post.You don't believe me?....Oh well.Oh,by the way I've been bowhunting about 30 years also.

Thats a world class whitetail, huge bases, at least 6 years old; and I definately believe it could be from CT. Lots of big bucks in CT.
