I am new to hunting with bows and for the last couple of years I have been using a Samik shb one-piece hunting bow 55#.Can anyone reccommend an upgrade?Any response would be greatly recieved.

Do you have a price range you want to stay in? Martin has a lot of nice traditional bows. Mathews has come out with their own line and hoyt has some nice ones too like the GameMaster and Tiburon.

top price approx £300 / $ 550 if possible?Nothing fancy, just nice to shoot and robust.
