My brother just got back from a family reunion in Michigan, and he bought me the complete set of Dead Down Wind scent blocker/stopper/shocker whatever:D

Now for my question: How good is this stuff?

I've heard all kinds of good things about it, and no bad. I've never used the stuff myself, but then again about the only spray on I use is fresh earth cover scent and fresh earth scent wafers. I personally think that the majority of those things are a gimick and a complete waste of money. I also have serious questions about scent control clothing too, but that's another topic. I have been within 10 yards of deer down wind of me after sitting in my stand on a hot October day here in Virginia and they didn't bust me. :noidea: why, except maybe that I was high enough in the tree that they didn't get my scent.

I really feel that it's better to play the wind right and get high enough above them to keep your scent out of their nose's. Take good precautions before you enter the woods (shower with scent free soap, wash your hair with scent free shampoo, and use scent free deoderant, ect...) If you don't have tree's to climb, you have to try something. Try it out and let us know how it turns out!:cool:

The hunt is in august for roedeer, so im gonna try the stuff out, both in a tree stand and stalking.
