View Full Version : The Wabash R-100 FBSA Saturday Night Feeding Frenzy
bullfiddle 07-19-2008, 08:47 PM Ok since the FBSA is all about fine dining let's plan a feed for Saturday night in Wabash. So far I have heard that there will be a turkey fryer and a turkey. Somebody said they were bringing Chicken Wings. I am gonna bring sweet corn.... Let's hear your thoughts...:rockon: :rockon: :rockon:

I know that Rabbit I just figured we could have one organized Feed for the weekend then we can wing it (no pun intended) the rest of the weekend...:noidea:

I'm bringing some other stuff to snack on.
Since we're planning on shooting early a couple of us could just head to Wallyworld after the shoot and pick up some other stuff to fry or grill up.
I think we need to get some side salads or something too....

. I thought about doing pork tenderloins for dinner Saturday night.....let me know if that sounds good...I'll be sure to get enough for all.

Fried, partially cooked non breaded wings, slathered in a hot/honey type sauce after out of the oil, and then carmelizing the sauce on the grill after basting is awsome....
Also, getting chicken drumsticks might actually be less expensive than buying wings and way there is more meat on those bad boys... :peace:

What's teh best way to cook those ? I've heard from a number of folks that boiking is good and then a crock pot after de-boning them....
We can't use a crock pot since no electrical but I'm sure we could figure something out... The WEBER maybe ?
