You can twist or untwist the string to line it up perfect.

Yeah, you can twist it to align it, but it will most likely happen again. BowTechs usually have pretty good strings, but they all need a breakin period. Maybe 100 or 200 shots and things should settle down. Then you retwist as necessary.

You be able to tell when the string is broke in well. The peep might not be in the right orientation, but it won't rotate on the draw. Till then I'd just deal with it as is.

I don't have the peep twist problem. However, my D loop keeps twisting.

How long is the loop? If it to long it may twist after the shot, if its pretty short, it may not be tight enough, my local shop has some special pliers to stretch the loop really tight. I had the same problem. mine was just not tight enough.

Ok, Thanks for the info. My D Loop should be facing me correct.

Yep D Loop should be facing you with the peep lined up with it. Once the strings are shot in and you get everything lined up correctly you should be Good to go!.

Congrats on the new General it is one Sweet shooter.

For most bows you need to put the bow in a press, release the tension on the string and give it a twist or two in the direction that you want the peep rotated in. Then reconnect the string and ease the tension of the press.

So you have to disconnect the string and then reconnect it?

You better have your local shop replace your limbs while your there, I guess Bowtech is finally owning up and recalling the limbs on all the 60-70 lb. generals!

I put Vapor Trail strings on my Guardian and my General, no peep problems whatsoever!
