I am thinking about getting one but wanna make sure they are worth the investment.

I used one on my AR34,but it made a pop noise after i installed it.It did settle the bow down nicely but not worth the trade off to me...............

i havent hunted with it yet but i will this year. im not sure if it quited it down that much but it eleminated the hand shock that i didnt know i had untill i put it on.

Will never setup a hunting bow without one. And my one of choice is the Original STS.

Mines a rear mount but my daughter's is front mounted - looks fine to me.:noidea:

mine is front mount... its not bulky at all.

My front mount does add a little bulk and weight, but I'm 90 percent tree stand hunting, so a little extra weight is a small trade off for the extra shooting comfort. The tap it makes is no more disturbing than the buzz it eliminates, and I don't need string leaches now. Also, my hand placement seems more consistant. I'm happy with mine. One more thing, after I got it adjusted right, the tap noise was much quieter.

I have the front mount on my bow and it does not look bulky at all. it runs in line with my cable guard and no one ever sees it....

Same for me. I love my meanV CSS. It made a huge difference in my opinion.

I had one on my Septer and removed it the a couple of weks ago and felt like a sinner
and seems to shoot better
It is wonderful to hear and feel tha bow agian.

I changed the rubber insert out on the Shortstop on my 82nd and added a lower MeanV. A mouse Fart would rival the noise that bow makes now.

String Suppressors work!! Whether it's mine or one of the other models on the market. Look them over and buy what you like, then enjoy the benefits. I think most people that have tried one will tell you it's one of the best bangs for your $$ you can get.

I wont go without them and meanvs are definately some of the best out there. I didnt really think I needed one on my mathews but I definately use them on my bowtechs.:peace:

That makes no sense at all.

Adding your stopper in addition to it makes some sense.

The shortstop is WAY closer to the nock point than any alternative string stopper and it is far more effecive at stopping forward string motion than any stopper screwed into the back of the stab bushing...

I have your product on my Allegiance and Ovation so I do know what I speak of.

Meanv (Dan) makes good stuff.... I use his stoppers on 2 of my bows and I would not want anything else.

Ron, I didn't take off the Short Stop, but I did replace the rubber insert with the BowJax one I carry. I believe it is superior to the original. I then added a lower MeanV. So I have them both working for me. :cool:

Oh I got ya.... I did not mean to be negative on that one, I just did not understand why you did.

I'm not sure I disagree with you on that call at all.... That stopper is in a perfect spot on the 82nd and 101st, I just don't trust the mounting and the fact that it forces the string into a groove. And I did recently find out that Bowtech delears do not normally stock the replacement rubber stoppers...

I have meanv's on 2 of my bows and will never shoot with out one....made a believer out of me also.There's a few different one's on the market,but i like his due to the fact that he can match most camo colors and it looks like it part of the bow and not just another add on and compared to others.....the price is right.:cool:
