What is the best way to clean your bow string? I just got a new string from jcmorgan- Ranger Custom string in Flo Green and Balck and want to keep it looking good.

I have never cleaned mine, just keep it waxed up..... I think there is a Venom string cleaner out there, just dont see the point in cleaning, waxing has my strings and cables still looking new after two seasons.:noidea:

Yep. :noidea: Although if you manage to cut strands like I do they get replaced often enough it's not an issue!

Because cleaning them removes the dirt, grim and extra wax. Your strings will look much better longer and last even longer if you clean them:D

Dish washer or washing machine? I think the washing machine, because then you can put some dirt wash in with them:peace:

You should just try cleaning it with a rag and soap water then wax it up real nice:rockon:

Yes, use silicone based. It helps repel water off the strings better.

I have never cleaned a bowstring. I would never put soap or detergents on it cause of the effect soap may have on it. I would'nt get it all completely soaked either because of mildew. I have had bowstrings for 3-5 years and all I do it wax it.
