Have Plano Protector (http://cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/product/standard-item.jsp?_DARGS=/cabelas/en/common/catalog/item-link.jsp_A&_DAV=search&id=0004465415377a&navCount=11&podId=0004465&parentId=&navAction=push&catalogCode=QT&rid=&parentType=&indexId=cat600500&hasJS=true)

But I upgraded from Nova to Diablo and it is MUCH more parallel.

I'm looking for something with a slightly better fit.
The things I liked about the Plano were;
- airline luggage certified
- very reasonably priced.

I'd like to preserve those two features.

Anyone using a good case at a reasonable price for their new bow (XT, Trykon, Diablo, etc.)

No one with a newer bow using a hard case less than a hundred bucks?

I checked out the Dosko at the local shop.
It fit, but it did not read anywhere that it was insured for travel.

The Plano have a pillar system and are airline rated.
That allows you to put a claim against the airline should anything bad happen.

This is one of the nicer ones for less than $100. Bow never touches the sides and plenty of storage space.

I have seen that one MOBOMAN shows in his thread and like it alot, I do not use a hard case at this time though, and have not been keeping up on them.
I am at the dealer right now and asked him. He likes the new skb case, but sells for $120.

The Freedom case?
It seems to be the choice... but GAH.. $120.
Not going to upgrade at $80 premium.
Guess I'll make do.

Yup the Freedom, thats the one I was thinking. That one comes w/free insurance.

I Just bought a doskocil double case last winter to fit my 46" a to a 300 rnd bow. Man was that dumb. I wanted an aurora soft case but they did'nt come big enough. Now I don't even shoot that bow anymore because I like my Trykon XL so much that I just put a different scope on it and shoot 300 rnd with that, and with a different scope shoot 3D. So now I am toting around an exspensive double case that I don't really need. (which I only do by the way because my wife would probably shoot me if I bought another one). But enough rambling I have heard alot of goo things about the Plano that moBowman showed. I know a couple of people that have them and they just love 'em

I went to Bean's last night and checked out the Plano stand up case.
It was a little tricky closing the case on the stand up case.
While it looks GREAT for travel, the clamshell style still seems more my cup of tea.
