If you practice with it on you leave it on when you hunt... If you take it off when you practice you take it off in the tree stand PERIOD!!! :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

I dont put mine on until I start hunting and then it stays on all season.

This is what I did, when I was hunting. As soon as I started practicing for hunting with broadheads on, the quiver stayed on all season.

The quickee quiver has a sweet little bracket you can buy that you can screw into the side of your tree. It's just like the one that fit's on your bow. You can take the quiver off your bow and mount it on the tree so it's not floppin all over the place. I have used quickee quivers to hunt with for years and there as good as those 90-100 broadhead quivers for alot less money.

me too, so i was thinking how pointless it was to spend much money on quiver at all

my quiver is only used for transport my arrows to the stand, I dont practice with it nor do I leave it on when hunting.

my quiver is always on, it doesn't matter if I am practicing or hunting. I don't like to sit on my butt for to long a time so I find myself doing a lot of stalking.

Hip quiver is all I use anymore.

I dont own, and never will own a bow mounted quiver!

I have been shooting and hunting for so long with out one, that I just cant use a bow mounted one any more......

I agree. The bow will torque differently and the balance will be different if you practice with the quiver on vs. hunt with the quiver off....

Practice the way you will hunt and don't change anything in between.

My trykon is pretty heavy as is, I usually take the quiver off for both practicing and hunting. If i don't have a bow hanger in my tree i usually leave the quiver on but upside down so I can set the bow on my leg.

I practice the way im gonna make the shot...same
my quiver is on the side of my bow..but i dont shoot it like that.
if im going out stalking i use my hip quiver.
if im going to a treestand and i see a deer ill slip it off before a shot..its got a quick release lever on it..off in a flash.
in the treestand ive got my fannypack with hooks on it,wrapped aroud the tree, i hang the quiver from it, stright down the tree..i dont want turkeys picking up my fletching.
we hunt deer and turkeys in the fall here season is in for both.

and i use white blazer wrap and white zebra strip blazers so i can see the tail fly into the deer..so i dont wanna have the bow in my hands moveing it around with 6 fletched bright fletched arrows on it.
to heavy to shoot like that anyway.

Hip quiver for me. I never shoot with a quiver on my bow. If I am in tree stand I take hip quiver off and tie it to the tree.

I have used a Hip quiver (hated it), Cat Quiver (Love it), but most of the time I have a 2 pc. quiver on my Bow.

I now have 2 pc. Octane Quivers on both my Airbornes. They are pretty awesome :cool:

The only time my quiver is attatched to my bow is on the walk from my truck to the tree stand, and from the tree stand to my truck.
