here in michigan where i hunt the bucks are not very big, and even though it might be small to some of you guys this is the biggest ive seen/got on camera in this area.

he's around 4 maybe, need to see his hams
no more than 4 buy the size of his neck
neck start beefin up at 4-5 and his is still a lil skinny.
but he's a shooter.to me but im just like that i cant wait :frusty:

Nice deer. I hunt public land in Northern Michigan. I don't see bucks that big every year, but I always put meat in the freezer. I've seen some monsters, but the biggest buck I've taken so far was an eight point with a 16 1/2" spread. He weighed almost 200#. I'd be proud to arrow that one. Good luck and have fun:thumb:

i thought this was kinda cool, last year at this spot i saw three bucks pre season (on trail cam and in person) one pretty wide six, one more narrow but taller six, and one wide six that had almost no tines (really short). then i saw all three during season from stand and shot the pretty wide six, however i never found him:Cry: now this year i got this one on my trail cam and thought it might have been the one i shot. then the other day i spotted three bucks together, the one in the pic, another 8 that was taller and more narrow, and one that was really wide but didnt look it had any tines.do u think it was the same three from last year? and do u think that means the one i shot survived?

only you could tell that buy putting an arrow in him.then you might be able to see a scare on him.
and yes it probably is the same 3 from last year if there is no preasure where these bucks are..they wont go far from there home range unless
they are pushed out repeatedly..or the rut is on and they are out looking
and even then they will go out and try to heard some doe's back into there sanctuary.

There just not in the typical spots and you have to be willing to put the leg work in to find em. That is a nice buck looks like a nice spread. Well lots is a bit of a over statement I would say we come in contact with about a dozen bucks of his caliber through out the season. The largest deer I have ever taken off of state land in Kalkaska is gross 158 7/8" very heavy main frame 10.
