thats the millon dollar question. the big debate is can they ultraviolet or not. heres an article from qdma about the subject.

according to this you should stay away from blue, dont use UV brighteners and wear clothing that breaks up your outline.

Just did a quick google search and I think you will find the answer to most of your questions. Sort through the advertisements to buy their clothe washing detergeant and you can actually learn something I did!

does basic HS detergent have UV killers..or just no added brighteners...and do I need killers if i've washed 100 times in non-brightening detergent?

i JUST USE THE aTKSO PRODUCTS WITH TREDENDOUS RESULTS

I use Sportwash by SNO SEAL and Scent-A-Way by H.S. Scents fresh earth spray. Get it at Wal-Mart and seems to do a great job. Had a doe 10' downwind of me 2 years ago and she never knew I was there. Oh and I was on the ground.
