I do it like a pot-roast. Meat potatoes/veggies/onions in the pan, a can or two of cream of mushroom soup over everything, a little (mabey a 1/4 cup) of water. A big piece of tin-foil over everything and snugged down, then the pot lid. Into the oven for a couple-three hours at 350. The tin-foil keeps the moisture in and keeps the tops of the veggies from getting dry. Delicious. I even do stakes the same way, just stack-em up.
