Well didn't get no revenge on my doe today. And didn't see a dam thing. When do most of you ladies/gents see your deer in the afternoon or in the morning.

When do most of you ladies/gents see your deer in the afternoon or in the morning. There are some places that I hunt that are productive in tha mornings like on the ridges I hunt closer to tha bottoms or feeding areas in tha evenings especially if there is crops in them then there are place where I can see deer all day long and i have dere coming from all different directions:hug: Hunting a place to hunt comes after a few years of learning tha area and deer movement if your have fresh sign then hang tite I like to find fresh and old together this means that the deer have been frequenting tha place for a while when tha pressure gets on em they will move and then I look for fresh sign it will be where my stand will be:biggrin1: dbdcougar 09-15-2008, 04:03 AM I've taken deer both times, depends on the property, my place seems more productive in the morning. Sunday is definitely my best day for them no matter where I'm hunting though for some reason. :noidea: OneMustFall 09-15-2008, 07:06 AM I see deer mainly in the mornings, but ive scouted a couple monsters in the evenings as well.:peace: wildfan99 09-15-2008, 08:02 AM I was out this weekend. Saw 4 Sat. morn, saw 2 Sun. night. All does w/ fawns. Still don't have the heart to orphan those fawns. Passed on 1 Sat. & a doe & fawn Sun. night. I gotta get over that!! fstgstdsmpay 09-15-2008, 09:01 AM Early Season I see most of my deer late evenings. Not until the end of Oct do my spots really pick up in the am. MObottomshunter 09-15-2008, 01:00 PM for me it seems like i see a few in the mornings untill end october when the bucks start cruisin all day and push all the does and than i see em a lot in mornings. jdawg240 09-15-2008, 01:11 PM Depends on the time of year and the weather....Early in the season the deer move much later versus Late season. During the rut most of the activity is mornings on our farm...lots of variables to your question. :noidea: bowcraze30 09-15-2008, 08:34 PM if a doe is alone does that mean that the fawns are 100% independent? |
