how dose a kisser help with 3d shooting.

The kisser button helps you to find your proper or atleast consistant anchor point.

My coach says centering your eye in the peep with the scope is the number one of the most important things one has to do. Some find a kisser button places there head in the right position to do this the same evertime.

I feel I dont need one if I center my eye evertime and get my scope lined up.

i am using a carter thumb release with a dloop and it just doesn't seem like the string comes close to my mouth where a kisser button would help.

String contact my nose and the pulling hand is planted in under my cheek. It would probably work if i used a finger tab.

Kisser buttons are good for beginning archers in it will help with establishing good form. In the long run, it can become more of a pacifier and lead to bad habits. Use it to get started and ax it as soon as possible. Concentrate on your shooting technique and proper form and you don't need one.

I use a kisser button for hunting and take my peep off. To many low light conditions when I couldn't see through my peep, but I still have an anchor point.

3D is just the opposite. I have a peep and no kisser. I do as Daniel Boone said and center my pins.

I use a no-peep and a kisser. I use several anchor points to maintian a consistant anchor position.

I have friends who will not hunt without one on their bow. Then you have me who has never had one I feel that I have plenty of anchor points and that a kisser would just add more weight to my string. :noidea: But you never know I may decide someday to give one a shot. I have always used a kisser although I have been thinking about taking it off of my indoor bow now that summer is here and putting in some serious practice rounds with out it, to see what happens.
