I shot at one in Southern Ohio last year, I guestimated him between 150 and 160. He was a heavy horned 9 point with tall points and outside his ears. He was not taken last year from the spot I shot at him so hopefully I will get another shot this year.

Last year I missed him with my Mathews SB so now I will try with my Elite Synergy. Hopefully I can post him in this tread next month.

Not yet but I am hopeful that it will happen some day. I don't have access to land that gives me much of an opportunity. I rarely see bucks let alone a P&Y buck. I end up shooting does most of the time. Hunting ground is hard to come by in my area unless you got some serious cash to spend. So you take what you can get.

Shot...........Yes. Was on public land and some :tape: found him and drug him out before I could get my hands on him. I'm 100% sure he was P&Y.....Biggest 10 pointer I ever seen in this area.

I have never had the opportunity to shoot a buck with my bow period. :mad: Have shot a few nice whitetails and mule deer with my muzzleloader and rifle though.

Oh....now when it comes to P&Y class does....I think I have shot a bunch of those :D

Cox Co. by Whinchester and Paris on the eastside. Nothing like Illinois in the rut. Ill shoot your guys cull bucks. Buddy saw my bucks at the house and said why did I shoot those. Him being from Illinois. I understood his point after hunting up there. Really just some of nicest folks I have ever met up there.

Hey Rick I remember a picture you sent me one time of a real nice buck you took. Seems like that one should have been pretty close to PY..........ooops I mean of course that's probably one of the only big deer in Kansas, cause everyone knows there are no big deer in KS;)

he nets around 145..His mass really helped him out,Coke Cans coming out that head...

I have 2 actual P and Y's and some that get beat up by net score. The one pictured is my best, and I was really excited to get him with a recurve. It is the only year I ever hunted with a recurve.

I have been bowhunting for close to 15 years now. Up until last year I hadn't shot a buck that would make P&Y. Last year I finally got one that was just shy of B&C. I though I had to have a big buck to be a successful hunter. Since then I realized you can hunt your but off, if the big ones don't live in the area you hunt it aint never gonna happen. I still let the little ones walk by, but I enjoy harvesting does as much as the bucks.

if i scored them right i have 2. my 2006 buck and my 2003 public land buck. i have several others that are close.
