I started my daughter at about 4. to this day her favorite picture of herself is of her standing next to a rhinehart wolf. It was the first arrow that stuck in the 3D target. We had a great day and made some great memories.

Before they are born  :peace:

I have attended several reading workshops (im a teacher). According to the "experts" there is documented research (how I don't know):noidea: that supports that kids that were read to in the womb are better readers than those parents who did not........

so I guess if we ever have a baby,,,, I'll shot some 3-D targets at different distances and tell him to listen.

I think anything you can do to get their minds a working is good. When they pull that arrow and release it something is going on in their head. When they pull and hit their target is a good day. Their mind is working on why they hit and why they don't hit. either way their thinking and having a thought process. Anything you can do to spark their mind wether its archery or just shooting hoops in basketball its all good. Having a active mind is the key. I just happen to be a bowhunter. I had one boy who wanted to kill something and another who didn't believe in killing and had to show him both sides of archery, hunter and target shooter. It was a learning curve for me to explain these issues to kids and learned something about myself in the process of why I shoot. I truly enjoy the sport. Its just one way to reach out to kids or anybody who wants to shoot.

These boys later out grew the genisis pro and later gave the bows to my brother so his kids can shoot. Great starter bows for our young americans. My father started us out at a early age and we have now passed on the tradition.
