I put the smack down on a large doe Sat night, I was in my stand that I had seen some very nice bucks on my camera and it was a perfect night I had no intentions of shooting a doe off of that stand but as a batch of does were working their way thru at 5:00 – 5:30 eating acorns like crazy a acorn dropped from my tree and hit the floor of my stand and the steel tingeing sound alerted this doe and she made the mistake of trying to be a hero and investigate the sound a little closer after playing the game she proceeded back to where they were munching on acorns at 30Yards but she was still very tense and cautious so I did not want her to blow the spot and had to cut things short for her.

But there will be more; I have 4 more doe tags to fill yet, So we will have pictures and team point to boot soon!

Way to go Jeff.. I still haven't gotten a chance to hunt this season..

congrats does eat just as good as bucks like my dad said i never ate horns before but they look good on the wall
