DB's getting an Elite:eek:

I'm gonna have to start practicing more. I can beat those Mathews guys but the Elite guys give me trouble :D

I wouldn't mind shooting an Elite, but don't know where the closest dealer is.

You going to be staff shooter for them DB?

Get ready, will see who knocks down the first good buck this season as well. Im headed to the woods this evening. Bad thing dont have one picture of a buck during daytime hours.:noidea:

No doubt you'll beat me on the deer. Went out last night and all I saw was a water moccasin :scared:

I have a 140 grains up front in my x-cutters. Gotta find some new 3D arrows for the marked yardage class though.

Ben

The XLR wth the CUda cams which is what you would need for your draw length is 36 1/2" A-A with a 8 3/8" brace.

The XLR I just shot was a 51.1# with a 350 grain arrow @ 28.5" draw it shot 272 fps.
So if you shoot a 380 grain arrow you will need about 60# to hit the 280-282 fps you are looking for.

i have a 82nd 59# same arrow , set at 10 yds shooting 305fps has a 2" drop at 30yds.....how the heck can this be??????????  :frusty: :frusty:

How did it draw DB? Our dealer dont have one is stock and might not get one for a while...I dont think he even ordered one yet...

I am wanting a XLR 28 dl 70# I heard they feel like your drawing alot less than what you are?I seen a guy post on elite forums that he wish he had got a 80 lb because it drew so easy and smooth...What is your thoughts?

To a experienced Female Archer, you would get alot of attention if you shot from an Italian Compound Bow made By Bernardini Skorpion 2000 Compound.
Just the machined Riser will set you back almost 1500 bucks, the complete bow may cost as much as 2 grand, without accessories. Nothing say you got Money by buying the Ferrari of bows. It would also help if you had a Ferrari to put the bow in, and just tell the babe, you bought the Ferrari as a Bow case for your bow.

Shooting it with a 2 piece Mathews quiver will also decrease the appearance of Moobs by 15.93%, using pink or magenta flu-flu arrows in the quiver will also decrease the appearance of a gut by 56%, however you will notice a significant shrinking of the "stones"

Holy Buckets! I hit the mother load over the weekend! I have never seen a deer on this new property. We planted food plots starting in late February and just finished a pond a couple weeks ago.
So I'm too late for an evening hunting Friday night and I glassed the main plot. There were five (5) gooood bucks on the field. Three were knocking on the door of P&Y and two were easily over 140". I watched them spar, rub, and open up two new scrapes. One of the big boys got a branch caught in his antlers and shook his head around until it fell out.

Saturday morning I had does on the field in the dark so I backtracked to another stand on the other side of the property. At 7:30am I checked a field and there were 4 bucks sparring and at least 2 dozen turkeys crossing the field. The biggest was a non-typ with split g2's and g3's scoring over 140". He was doing some heated sparring with a P&Y contender. Not an all out war but more than good-natured shoving. The other two were a spike and a 7 ptr scoring ~80-90". When I grunted the spike came in and the rest jumped the fence and were on their way. I quick guestimated the distance at 35-38 yards where the big one would cross and drew back. As he crossed I grunted, shot, they all ran off. I hit the tree he was next to with the rangefinder and he was actually 51 yards! I missed big time!
First time in this stand and I had not ranged distances to objects yet.
