Early on while being stumped on yardage I developed a saying that lets me focus on form" High or Low here we go." Works pretty good when you apply it. May your Arrows Fly Straight,Holy Smokes :smokin:

One that a friend told me, but I think that it goes back to Al Henderson - "for 90% of misses, your bow arm is the villain"

This has been especially true for me.

My favorite is a comment made after a poor scoring, but well placed shot on a 3D target.....

"Boy's...that shot may not score good....but, it wouldn't have run far." :rockon:

After a round of practice with an old mentor we were discussion the mental side of hunting with a bow and his advice stuck. His rational was that is you have done your part in being prepared and have spent the time with quality practice - then the entire year boils down to this one little thought:

"When "the one" finally comes in your MIND will determine success or failure long before you touch the string."

For those that have been on the recieving end of the "knee wobbles" - myself included - this rings oh so true!
