I recently got 6 new Beman Camo Hunter arrows. They are, as the name suggests, all Camo. Being a rank beginner and having already lost a GOLD Easton xxx75 I am not thrilled about trying to find one of the Bemans in the woods behind my backstop. I have seen posts on the "Other Archery Website" about cresting an arrow with paint but wondered if I could add about 6 to 8 inches of white Shrink Tubing in front of the fletchings to add some visibility to the arrows. I am unsure if or how lacquer affects carbon arrows. The Shrink Tubing is available in many colors but I thought white would be my best choice. I thought it would be easy to remove when I was ready to re-fletch and don't believe it is heavy enough to affect the arrow flight, though I would have to do a "Crested vs. Uncrested" comparrison to be sure.
Any comments or ideas?

The only thing I would wonder about is that when shrink tubing shrinks, it gets thicker. I would wonder, depending on the type of rest you use, if you might have a slight clearance issue.
I've used Pathfinders (JCMorgan) and he makes a nice product at a fair price.
Plus, you can literally get them printed any way you like with pretty much any design. Check out his thread in the Classifieds, he has a ton of samples.

any good pro shop cna paint or wrap your arrows cheaply. I would be afraid that shrink wrap would be to heavy on the back end causeing poor flight. I had my arrow wrapped at hinton archery im murray they did a great job. most people have switched to dipping the arrows. I would go with white or blaze orange.

Hey Duck - Do you remember how much they charged you to wrap and fletch the arrows?
