Im about to purchase a mathews bow and am wondering what yall sugest as far as what model to choose. I will be doing mostly hunting but want to have the option of competition shooting if i so please. What models do you suggest?:peace:

they released a new bow for 2009 called the Reezen, but I would probably try to pick up a leftover Drenalin if I could get it cheap enough.

Thank for the reply. What do u think about Switchback XT? i have been doing so research and have read alot of great things about this bow.

Everyone that I know that has shot the Switchback loved it. I'm sure that it would be fine to start with in competition. You decide later that you want to add a separate bow for target, but it will more than get the job done getting started.

If you aren't totally sold on the Mathews, a good all around bow for both hunting and target would be the Alpine Ventura. Very solid bow!
