:noidea: I was wondering how to measure your draw length? I went to bass pro yesterday and got a rough measurement of 26.5, this was on a recurve bow using only my fingers on the string and putting my index to the corner of my mouth when i drew back. After he said 26.5 he made the comment i bet your probably a 27. i know i will be using a release when i hunt so do you think 27 is right?

IMHO the best formula to use in determining your draw is this:
Your need one person to help you
Put your back against the wall, stretch your arms out straight (arms touching the wall) your making a "T"...your helper should make a mark on the wall (pencil)at the end of each middle finger....take a tape measure and record the distance between the two marks.... take that number divide by 2.5
that number will be very close....probably within +/- 1/4 inch.....
