I want to start shooting tournaments but I am only 17 and I have no idea how to get into the sport. I live in central mississippi and just don't ever hear of any shoots. I own a Hoyt Vulcan and can shot fairly well (2'' at 40yds). Anyone know how to find some tournaments I have googled but with little success.

Look at the top of this forum and click on "Find Archery Shoots Near You. Do a search by state and you should get some results.

It may be a little early for the new 3d schedules for 2009 to be out but there may be a few on there.... :noidea:

Like Fiddle said check the find shoots link, or find a local shop or club and ask them...most shops will be able to point you in the right direction.

If there is no clubs(shoots) close by you avcn always start one
you make have to go to a few 1st to see how it's done and ask tha fellars to show you or even help y'all get atarted,
