Them are some serious "big eyes"!

Vortex is the only optics my local shop carries, they will not even special order any other brand, so that kinda tells me they all dig them pretty well. On league night the three "Display" models get picked up pretty quick and put to good use.

I had the pleasure of talking to VortexTim today... Realy great guy. I'll have to wait a little bit for my 10X Mono, but I'm sure they will be worth the wait. Can't wait till the new Solo's start shipping.

Wow, that is some serious "close up" viewing there, DB.
If you don't mind my asking, how much do those suckers run?

15 power would be great for open range hunting, but for 3-D, I use no more than a 10 power. Thats plenty.

Hmmm...you like power in a dual eyepiece optical device?

Try one of these: http://accurateshooter.wordpress.com/2008/07/11/new-binocular-spotting-scope/

If you hunt around the Highpower forums, you can even find the mount that ties two Leica spotters together. You'll only have about $4500 in it by the time you're done.

You said you liked power :D

Don't think they'd be very man portable on the 3D course

If lines can't be seen by the ole 10X, I just walk up and survey them.
