Mike finished second in the mens Master Pro class.

Mikes a great asset to any forum. One of the really good guys in this sport.

Not sure how many national and world titles Mike holds but its alot. He one of the best shooters around. Not bad shooting for old man!:D

Here a picture from the early days. Mike the young gun in the picture second from the right. He paid his dues to accomplish what he done in archery. Looks like he surrounded himself with some of the best to learn.

You would have to post a pic like this. Now I know how old I'm getting. Iffin my feeble memory serves me right that thar other guy next to him on the right is Jack Cramer. Holly crackers. I used to shoot the same league as these guys and recognize them all, though I don't remember all the names.

Ole Jack was a hell of a shooter in his own right. Won the World Field Title in, what year, 1978? Never hear much about him any more. Haven't heard or seen anything about him since about 1980.

Good golly miss molly!!!! I didn't even recognize Larry Wise and I know him personally. He and Jack shot as a team way back then (70's). Field shooting was the rage and they were an exceptional team.

I met up with Larry several times at the Pa. Bowhunter's Festival in the early to late 90's as I shot for a sales rep (Jim Roe) working for Sherwood Schock and Larry was pretty much affiliated with that sales group. Jim was no slouch in his own right winning the Pa. State field championship in 1977 in the Unlimited division. He was my friend and coach for about 3 years.

Knew Tom Jennings at the time, too. I ran into him at the ATA show a few years ago and understand that he and his son-in-law (?) was starting up a scuba diving operation in Hondorus. Roatan if I remember right. That's my other hobby.

Man, thanks for the picture. In some ways it's nice to be old and be able to look back on my good times.
