aggie2000tx 08-13-2006, 06:33 PM The shoot out was alot of fun. I was glad that I got to come and shoot the Classic.
Chris 08-13-2006, 07:32 PM Wow $40k is a BIG check.
BowhuntnHoosier 08-13-2006, 08:03 PM Wow $40k is a BIG check.
Yeah, but look at how much pain and suffering he dealt with.
BUNNYMAN 08-13-2006, 08:38 PM if that is pain and suffering, chain me to the same wall hes on.....
Dredly 08-14-2006, 08:13 AM Before the brand haters jump in here...
I'd like to point out that Mathews and PSE are about the only 2 manufacturers that pay for pros, give to the pot, and basically pay people to shoot.
that is all, thank you
Home-a-lite 08-14-2006, 11:50 AM Bows ( or brands of bows ) do not shoot theirselves. Let me ask a question. Does a bow judge yardage? This brings me to another question. When shooting 3-d tournaments, what % of anyones success is directly related to the bow brand?
If everyone uses Remington rifles for deer hunting, what brand is going to kill the most deer? The Mathews shooters will say....well, their must be a reason everyone is buying Mathews. We all know some folks just like to jump on a bandwagon.
Point is... I would like to CONGRATULATE all the top finishers on their shooting ABILITY, not their equipment.
BUNNYMAN 08-14-2006, 08:17 PM You guys took that wrong I think.......Al I wanted to do was keep up on the ever changing world of people and there bows.
Would there have been this kind of response had I asked who will be driving fords next year in NASCAR????
Or how about what kind of bike Ricky Carmicheal is riding this year? .....
Sorry everyone is so quick to asume its brand bashing when someone is asking what kind of equipment some one is using.....
Home-a-lite 08-15-2006, 12:01 PM Fords in NASCAR. Do they exist?:biggrin1:
Does anyone know the name of the young fellow (HOYT shooter) who shot a perfect round (20 targets/240 points) fairly recently. I believe he did it in the young adult class.
Bashing? Just sounds funny to me that bow manufacturers pay folks to shoot their equipment. A lot of companies give sponsorships. Hey Dredly, does PSE and Mathews actually put people on their payroll?
I guess I would shot PSE, AR, or Mathews equipment if they PAID me.
killbambidead 08-15-2006, 09:14 PM i'd even shoot a hoyt if they paid me ..... no wait thats pushin it
BUNNYMAN 08-15-2006, 09:17 PM i'd even shoot a hoyt if they paid me ..... no wait thats pushin it

Jay Are 08-16-2006, 07:12 AM i'd even shoot a hoyt if they paid me ..... no wait thats pushin it
You aint kidding......now thats bashing!!!!!!
I guess neither one of you don't have to worry about that dilemma since I don't see any of your names on the list of winning shooters.
aggie2000tx 08-17-2006, 10:32 AM Yes Darrin took shooter of the year as well.
