I'd say the length of your arrow will determine what arrow you wanna shoot..if you'r shooting a shorter arrow say 27 or shorter you can pretty much buy a lower level arrow (something from .006 in straightness) cut off both ends to eliminate any runout and have yourself a straight, economical and accurate arrow. Now if your arrows are longer like 28 and longer then you're gonna want something with .003 to .001 run out (straightness). Basically the longer your arrow is the straighter it needs to be from the factory and that usually comes at a higher price per dozen...maximas are a super nice arrow, but are a bear to pull from foam targets w/out lube due to thier radial weave design..I just recently bought a dozen Victory V-force HV's 45/60's with .006 runout from Slippy and cut about 1.5 inches off the nock end and 2.5 inches off the tip end...these arrows can easily hang with the HV1's in straightness now..It all boils down to how much your willing to spend really..I like to have a little money left in my pocket at the end of the day..
