I don't think the 1/2" is enough to make much of a difference in forgiveness aspect but, the 7.0 IMO and many others I have talked to agree draws noticeably smoother than the 6.5.

1/2 BH or 5 fps......If I was going to hunt with it then its a no brainer...7.0

what are you gone to be shooting this bow for 3D, spots just hunting or everything? How long have you been shooting?

I am a fan of BH myself. 7In is a little more forgiving and I'll take that anyday. Have you shoot the bows? If not do so shoot em both and see what you like. I even sugest go shoot them back to back on 2 differant days if possible, so you can really get a feel for what you like, also use your arrows if you can so you know how the bow shoots what you are gonna be useing out of it.

Are the 7.0 out yet? I shot the 6.5 recently at a local shop and liked it alot. Felt really nice. Just haven't heard too much about the 7.0s.

I have been shooting a dart system league for the last couple of years and I bow hunt. I've only had the opportunity to shoot the 6.5 and just curious to see if there was a significant advantage to one or the other.

Tak what you think of the 6.5 when you shot it? I liked it alot and felt I couldn't really see any disadvantage to the 6.5 bh.

Treestand, really nice set up! How you like the Mathews drop away rest?

I thought it shot fine. The one I shot was the demo at the archery shop that just had a drop away rest and no sights. I'm goin tomm. night to purchase one. Mathews just has to many options that makes me question myself. thanks for the input.
