Mrs Squid and I spent all of Saturday under the tutelage of Ginger Hopwood,
U.S. Archery Assn. LEVEL 4 National Coach , who is an amazing lady, and has a passion for teaching archery unlike any I have ever seen!
We have learned more about proper form, and the coaching of others in 10 hours with her than we could have figured out on our own in 10 years of fumbling our way along.
Especially the B.E.S.T. method. I've read about it and seen pictures and videos, but to actually feel it, wow.
HIGHLY recommended!

Thats awesome. Now you can go teach others and share your love for archery.
You guys are what is good about archers. Willing to learn and share with others.

Merely picking the brain of a good coach will teach even expirenced archers tons of new info. I'm constantly staggered by how much I still have to learn about this sport.
Keep up the good work guys....

Mrs. Squid got to spend quite a bit of time one-on-one having Miss Ginger help her tweak on some little things she picked up on. (The same things I've been telling her for months :tape: )
The funny thing was my passion is compound and I'm determined to finish my physical therapy / rehab, so I can shoot "right" again. Just for grins I picked up a lefty recurve bow to fling a few.... Miss Ginger said I had "the best traditional finger release she's seen in years" and strongly encouraged me to start shooting traditional.... LEFT handed  Well, I guess if my shoulder never heals I could fall back on lefty recurves, but it' just not where my personal passion in shooting is.

We are actually planning a second surgery on the 17th of April to cut away scar tissue (my body healed too well and I now have a "Frozen Shoulder")
And to make sure we didn’t tighten down the bicep tendon too much. Supposed to be a quick procedure and not set me back too far on the rehab schedule.
If I do not get full recovery, I will go lefty, because I simply cannot not shoot. The real b!tch of it is that I have a (2) RH Martin P3's (one Elite w/ Nitrous cams and one in camo w/ Magnum limbs and Furious cams) that I have been fiddlign with for quite a while and got them shooting SWEET right now, So I'll need to go find suitable LH risers to convert them, and start the tuning process all over again. Perhaps I can find a nice used Scepter3 or Scpter 4 riser over on AT.
Or I could give Mrs. Squid her new LH Mystic I ordered 2 months ago but is til not here yet, and take her old ShadowCat from her. The plan was to take her old ShadowCat riser and mount some of the new Jaguar Recurve Take-Down limbs on it for her... Decisions decisions!!!!

Maybe it would be easier converting one of your right hand martin's into a shoot through system, then it wouldn't matter if the bow was right or left hand.
