Looking for some feed back on range finders that calculate shooting angle. I've never used one just wandering if they actually work as intended or if i should just stick with the old style RF? What brand and model seem to be best?

Many are not liking the new Nikon with angle finder. Not getting true readings on level ground. My buddy bought one and now went back to his Nikon 440
We had this disscussion yesturday at the shoot.
Cant beat the Nikon 440. Im not sure how old mine is but its been around many years and still works great.

I just went through this search last fall. I checked out the Leupold, Bushnell and Nikon. I got the Nikon Riflehunter 550. It was among the lowest priced with the angle option. It is very simple to use and has good optics. The range is far better than the Archer's Choice by Nikon so it serves my needs for rifle hunting also. The Leupold was a great product except you need a degree in engeneering to figure out how to use it. Bushnell would be my second choice.
