WELCOME to the forum. Great to have you with us. And as far as your bow goes. I have not shot the Spitfire but I have shot quite a few Parkers and they are a very nice bow. Glad you found your way back to archery. Take care buddy.:peace:

thanks yall!
I was getting a bit frustrated with this bow sighting it in..I couldnt keep a consistant group. I was out friday shooting and I happened to notice that black bar that the 2 strings are attached to(i dont know the name, dont hate) was comming out of the bow, and the fletchings on the arrow were hitting it when it went out. I got it back into the bow and now im shooting 4" groups at 25 yards:rockon:

The black bar is likely the cable gaurd. Might as well start learning the parts now, it's all downhill from here bro. :biggrin1: First a deer target, then a turkey target, then a pig target, heck just go to the next nearest 3d shoot at your local club. You'll have fun, trust me. You won't be out of place, everybody starts sometime. My first deer was in NJ. That started my archery affliction. Welcome aboard.

No, but you got Devils, city slickers, or big bears depending on which part of the state your from.

For me it isn't as much about what animal the target is .Its more about shot placement and distance judging.Oh yeah and talking a little smack while doing it.Even if I'm losing
